Pakistan Desalination Solution System – Due to the desert climate of Pakistan, desalinated seawater is the primary fresh water source. MV VFDs are one of the key components of such a system. In November of 2010, an HIVERT MV VFD was installed in the seawater desalination solution system in Bin Qasim 560 MW Cycling Power Station in Pakistan. The VFD runs well under the complex grid environment whose voltage, generator heat, harmonics and powers are all different from China.
