One VFD Driving Two Motors

Huaibei Mining Group Taoyuan Mine – On the site, one 1800kw MV VFD drives two 800kw motors, which in turn drive a roller system. The parameters of the two motors are the same, using one encoder to send speed feedback. The MV VFD was successfully put into operation as the first example of one four quadrant vector control VFD driving two motors. This solution can improve the safety and the reliability of the main shaft hoisting system, ensuring the high hoisting performance of the system, having achieved wide range of speed regulation driving and having the advantages of poleless speed adjusting, low speed large torque, high overload ability, highly opinionated by the users.
