Huaneng pingliang power supply

Power production is one of the highest energy consuming industries in China. In order to increase profit, coal consumption must be reduced. During production a fan is used to adjust the generator load. A VFD can be used with these fan motors to reduce energy consumption. The Huaneng plant is equipped with 8 fans, with the following speifications:

model: 1788B/1224 single suction centrifugal fans

flat volume is 82.2m3/s

motor YKK500-4, rated voltage: 6KV

rated current: 175.4A, rated power: 1600KW

speed:1484rpm.
