Hiconics has completed the MV Drive maintenance in Lafarge cement Teresa plant in Philippines

In February 2014, Hiconics has reached cooperation with the Lafarge cement and has successively installed two sets of MV drives (3.3kV/2800kW and 4.16kV/650kW), used on the dust exhausting fan in Large Philippines Cement factory. After the modification, the speed regulation accuracy of the system has been greatly improved, the operation and maintenance cost of the equipment has been reduced, the service life of the equipment prolonged, and the energy saving effect is significant. The drives have been running successfully for more than three years.

In March 2018, Hiconics technicians were invited to the Lafarge Philippine cement plant to maintain the MV drive, including control system, dry transformer, power units and cooling system of the MV drive. During the maintenance, the engineer of the cement plant also actively consulted the technical staff and learned the maintenance knowledge of the frequency converter, and made in-depth communication with the technical personnel on the possible problems.
